mono CD compilation

Falconetti's Kino has been included on a CD of Bradford bands. The CD, called Escape from Monotony, features 17 bands and will given away free with a future edition of Bardford magazine mono. A launch party for the CD, featuring live sets from This Etal, Harmacy, and others TBC, takes place on 14th December at the Love Apple. Everyone gets a copy of the CD on entry to the venue. Gigs in February/March 2007

The band have three gigs booked in the year, with more dates still to be added. The gigs are:

 

Thursday, 15th February 2007 - Puzzle Hall, Sowerby Bridge

Thursday, 22nd February 2007 - Delius, Bradford

Saturday, 3rd March 2007 - Fagin's, Halifax

Web stuff

There is now a Falconetti MySpace site - myspace.com/teamfalconetti. Check here for the most up-to-date news of Falconetti gigs.

There is now also a site dedicated to Nick Tonge's former band, Zoopsia - zoopsia.co.uk - featuring pictures, sounds, and the musical exploits of the former band members.

 

Recording this December

Falconetti will be back in the studio in early December to record tracks for a new EP due out early 2007. Ryburn Studio (formerly Sunnybank) is the venue, with James Reid engineering, as for Oceanography. Amongt the tracks due to be recorded are Straits of Messina, Magna Via and Sonatine.

 

July gigs

Sad news to report

We are sorry to pass on the sad news that Guy Hotham, bass player with Falconetti collaborators Tetchi, died in Cornwall this Summer. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
